A project begins with an idea proposed by a group of scientists. Then this idea results in scientific specifications, which will constitute the specifications of the instrument.

If the project is financed, the adventure starts.

Then, the scientific specifications result in technical specifications, thanks to a system team comprising instrumental researchers and engineers. Such a team is made up of specialists of different technical fields : opticians, mechanics engineers, computer scientists, ...

The cohesion between the different technical specialities is assured because a scientist and an engineer make sure that the people involved respect the scientific and technical specifications until the achievement of the project.
