Exoplanets
The sensors dedicated to the exoplanet program :
The exoplanet line comprises on top of that a bi-prism block that spectrally scatters the image stain of the target stars, to distinguish the internal variations of stars from the planetary transits which are achromatic
- These are CCD matrixes of 8 million pixels each (4096x2048).
- One pixel is a square of 13 microns on each side.
The sensors have been chosen for their high efficiency to detect photons : it is greater than 85% in the color green.
